Facebook made headlines again. Today's newspapers - Financial Times being one of them - report on their frontpages that an Australian court allows a lawyer to serve documents via Facebook. Given the sensitivities around confidentiality and security of court filings this is definitively a homerun not only for Facebook but for Web 2.0 in general. Of course there will be setbacks. And the security flaws that were recently uncovered in Internet Explorer are only another example of the vulnerability of today's widespread Internet applications. However, there is no way stopping Web 2.0 and future applications being more and more adopted in society, business and yes the courts. I am counting the days till we see the first official court ruling taking place in Second Life. Any doubts? Then check out this!
By for now,
